Style Guide
Here are suggestions for the style of entries in this Wiki:
1) It should be obvious from my remarks on the first page that Wiki entries are asked to cite their sources. If your source is another web page or a library source, please cite it in your entry and include a list of Works Cited. If the source of a comment or entry is your own views, please give evidence for the text for those views.
2) If you make a comment on a particular page of the story, please link it by adding an entry to "Page List for Annotations." If your edition is different from the one we are using, just say which one it is and someone will probably update your entry to include both sets of pagination.
3) Please keep your entries brief. This Wiki is meant to help readers read the Mann story, so we don't want to keep them away from it by lengthy disquisitions in tangential directions. As a classicist, I could certainly fill a lot of pages talking about pederasty in ancient Greece, but I have tried to boil down the things I need to just the points needed to read this story. I hope that future readers of this Wiki will reshape what I said, or add more detail, if it is necessary.
